1973 Corvette (Corvette Summer movie car)
The 1973 Corvette from the Corvette Summer movie has been recreated
by John Debruin. It took 3 years to create the molds for the front and rear ends.
Performance Restorations has been contracted to finish the car with the wild Multi
candy color over metal flake paint job. Only 2 cars were built for the movie. The #2
car exists in the Mid America Corvette museum. The other was totaled out in
Australia and remains there today. Although it was rebuilt it is not the same as the
original. This car will replicate the original #1 car as close as possible. Love it or hate
it, The Corvette Summer car is with out a doubt the most famous Corvette ever built.
We are proud to be involved with the project. Keep checking back for updates!
